WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO

Reiki Master, Aesthetician and Massage Therapist, I have been around alternative medicine my whole life. Throughout my childhood, both my parents instilled in me the important values that I apply to my treatments, such as the importance of integrity for wellbeing. Every day, I strive to both educate and assist my patients on their path to wellness, empowering them to live better and healthier lives.

 

As a child, I had always wanted to help people and I knew it would be in wellness. My mom would have me massage her feet on a regular basis, so naturally I have surprisingly strong hands. My love for massage grew and grew! While being a Mary Kay agent, I learned I could not assist women in applying their makeup for legal reasons. Since my main reason for being an agent was to care for the women in convalescence homes, this was not good enough for me. I attended Aesthetician school at the Aveda Institute in Austin, TX so that I could assist my clients in skin care and makeup as they desired. My love for massage was reborn! While I was still in the Aveda school, I began research on the different massage schools in the area to make sure I chose the best of the best. It wasn't long before I found the Lauterstein Conway Massage School and Clinic in Austin, TX. After I graduated as Valedictorian from both schools and working in a local spa, I decided to start my own business to help people in a manner that is unique and truly my own. I am constantly learning new things to better my services for my clients. 

 

As a Reiki Master, I can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being. I was trained and certified by Ritually Yours in Houston, TX. 

 

As a Licensed Aesthetician, I have been trained in Ayurvedic traditions, Advanced Aveda Facials, Acupressure, Auricular Acupressure, Reflexology, speed waxing, eyebrow/eyelash tinting, makeup, body scrubs and wraps from the Aveda Institute in Austin, TX. 

 

As a Licensed Massage Therapies, I have been trained in the following modalities: Swedish, Body Mobilization Techniques (BMT), Passive/Active Stretching, Orthopedics, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage (Certified), Hot Stone, Advanced Chair Massage Techniques, Zero Balancing (ZB I & II Certified), Shiatsu, Thai, Deep Massage (DM Certified), Psychology of Bodywork, Orthopedic (Certified) Lymphatic Drainage, Oncology, Advanced Pregnancy Massage Techniques including: Prenatal, Labor Prep, Labor Induction, Postpartum, Infant/Baby and Pediatric Cranial Sacral from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, Clinic and Seize the Day Chair Massage in Austin, TX and Houston Pregnancy Massage & Doula Care in Houston, TX, respectfully.
